A few of our Little Sisters and a novice attended the 2026 Vocation Jamboree held at Mother of Good Counsel Seminary, San Fernando, Pampanga – January 17, 2026. There were more than 700 participants.

The Mass was presided by Archbishop Florentino Lavarias, DD, with 8 concelebrating priests. The homily emphasized the challenge of hearing God’s call amidst gadgets and encouraged youth to pause, reflect, and respond generously. A Light-hearted remark: “All can’t be nuns and priests otherwise life is boring.”

The Congregations presented their charisms followed by participants’ visits to the congregation booths. Simultaneously, vocation directors met in the audio-visual room to discuss feedback. Visibly, there were a strong desire among youth for confession; priests extended time to accommodate long queues.

Through this encounter, the young people were made aware of deepening their faith and discerning their vocation. The organizers expressed hope that the gathering will inspire vocations to priesthood and religious life, enriching the Church.
