Last October, the Home in Batticaloa received an award from The National Secretariat for Elders, ranked as the second-best Elderly Home in Sri Lanka. 

The award ceremony was held in Colombo. Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya presented the prize to one of our little sisters from the Colombo community.
