Consecrated Life

Our religious consecration (a gift of God) enables us to follow Christ as our only necessity, to make Him the centre of our life. Through the profession of evangelical counsel of chastity, poverty, obedience, we offer God our heart and affections, our personal talents, our possessions and our will for His greater glory and the salvation of souls. Saint Jeanne Jugan learned from Saint John Eudes that “religious consecration means to make profession of having but one life, one heart, one soul and one will with Jesus.”  Simply she would say—“All for you, my Jesus!”   Our fourth vow of hospitality brings to perfection the gift of ourselves to God and brings our religious consecration into the concrete realities of everyday life.
