Pilgrims from neighboring countries came to visit the Little Sisters of the Poor in Penang during St.Anne’s feast
Eight busloads of pilgrims from neighboring countries came to visit the Little Sisters of the Poor in Penang during St.Anne’s feast to spend a meaningful day with the elderly residents. The guests took time to sit and talk with the residents, listening to their stories and learning more about the mission and work of the congregation. The warm and joyful interactions created a spirit of friendship and shared humanity. As a gesture of support, many of them also purchased handcrafted items made by the residents, appreciating the creativity and effort behind each piece. The visit was a beautiful exchange of culture, compassion, and solidarity.
